Based on Cai Jun’s novel, the film presents an intriguing legend of a cemetery that grants wishes at the cost of life, but falls short in execution. Despite promising sound design and concept, the story lacks flow, emotional depth, and strong performances, with underdeveloped symbolism around the butterfly motif. While visually intriguing at moments, weak CGI and stiff acting make this a mystery that’s watchable but ultimately forgettable. Read the full review here: (Indonesian version : alunauwie.com)
