เมี่ยวเมี่ยว อดีตนักแสดงหญิงที่มีชื่อเสียง แต่หลังจากแต่งงานกับ หงฉืออี ครูมวยจีน เมี่ยวเมี่ยวก็ออกจากวงการและใช้ชีวิตเป็นแม่บ้านที่ดีตลอดมา ทั้งสองคนมีลูกสาว หงอี้หลัน และลูกชาย หงอี้เฟิง ชีวิตครอบครัวที่สุขสงบถึงคราวต้องพบกับการตัดสินใจครั้งใหญ่เมื่อเมี่ยวเมี่ยวพบว่าเธอเป็นมะเร็งและจะมีชีวิตอีกไม่นาน เมี่ยวเมี่ยวคิดจะหวนไป “โบยบินอีกครั้ง” แต่แล้วเกิดโชคร้ายเมื่อหงฉืออีได้รับบาดเจ็บทำให้ไม่อาจใช้วิชามวยได้ดีเท่าเดิม ความฝันของเมี่ยวเมี่ยวเลยต้องสลายไปเช่นเดียวกับชีวิตของเธอ
