Anima, Thom Yorke’s short film companion to his third album, masterfully blends music and visual storytelling to explore themes of anxiety and dystopia. Without dialogue, the film communicates emotion through dance, atmosphere, and Yorke’s expressive performance. The story, though simple, is executed with precision—each song matching the rising tension and resolution seamlessly. Visually captivating and emotionally resonant, the film’s choreography and narrative build toward a surprisingly tender conclusion. Overall, Anima is a stunning and artful experience that speaks volumes without saying a word. Read the full review here: (Indonesian version : alunauwie.com) and (English version : uwiepuspita.com)
