เรื่องราวสุดระทึกขวัญ เมื่อทางรัฐบาลเกาหลีที่ต้องการพัฒนาโครงการลับ เพื่อเป็นการกระตุ้นขีดจำกัดและความสามารถของมนุษย์ชาติ แต่ทว่าเมื่อโครงการลับดังกล่าวได้ถูกเปิดโปร่งโดยฝีมือของหน่วยสืบราชการลับของสหรัฐอเมริกา ทำให้โครงการดังกล่าวได้ถูกสั่งปิดและนำตัวอย่างสารทั้งหมดไปกำจัดทันที แต่ทว่าระหว่างการขนส่งสารอันตรายนั้น ได้มีกลุ่มคนร้ายโจมตีเพื่อแย่งชิงสารนั้นไป ทำให้ภารกิจนี้กลายเป็นภารกิจใหญ่ระหว่างสหรัฐอเมริกาและรัฐบาลเกาหลี ทั้งสองฝ่ายต้องร่วมมือกันเพื่อไม่ให้สารร้ายนั้นตกไปอยู่ในมือของคนชั่ว

The Tyrant has some good ideas, its just a shame no one put them into a cohesive script. This show is all over the place. Vague, contextually dislocated, replete with scattered story elements and sub plots, that are almost impossible to follow. The results a series of set pieces, where things happen but make no real sense. I disliked the frustrating first episode and I doubt I'll be back for a second. Limited upside includes decent acting, reasonable action and production values. In summary, a series that has gotten itself caught up in its poorly articulated complexity.Perhaps it will get better but do I and other viewers, really care enough to find out?
