Cookie-Richtlinie

Zuletzt aktualisiert: 22 June 2026

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in much the same way. We keep our use of them to the minimum needed to run Moventra and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They keep you signed in, maintain your session, and protect forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). Without them, core features such as logging in would not function.

Examples: the session cookie and the XSRF-TOKEN cookie set by our framework, and the cookie Cloudflare Turnstile uses to protect the sign-in, registration and password forms against automated abuse.

Preferences

We remember choices such as your theme (light/dark) and language. These are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device, not sent to our servers as tracking cookies.

Analytics (optional)

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate usage, for example which pages are popular and how features are used. It is configured with Google Consent Mode and is on by default; it sets first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) on your device unless you turn analytics off, in which case Consent Mode keeps it cookieless and only aggregated, non-identifying signals are sent. Your IP address is used by Google to derive approximate location and, in Google Analytics 4, is not logged or stored.

You can turn analytics off at any time using the "Cookies" control in the footer; your choice is remembered on your device, and we honour your browser's "Do Not Track" signal.

Marketing (optional, on by default)

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising measurement, to understand how our adverts perform and to reach relevant audiences. It sets Facebook cookies and shares limited interaction and technical data with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited.

While Marketing is on and you are signed in, we also enable Google Ads enhanced conversions: Google Analytics sends Google a hashed (SHA-256), non-reversible version of your email address to measure conversions from our advertising. We never send your raw email address.

Marketing is on by default; you can switch it off at any time using the "Cookies" control in the footer, your choice is remembered on your device, and we honour your browser's "Do Not Track" signal.

What we do not use

Beyond the Meta Pixel described above, we do not use other third-party advertising cookies or cross-site marketing trackers, and we never sell your data.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of Moventra from working (for example, staying signed in).

To opt out of analytics specifically, use the "Cookies" toggle in the footer, no browser changes needed.
