Mirage offers a compelling time-travel narrative, blending mystery and emotional depth through Vera's journey to save a boy in the past, triggering a shift in her reality. The film builds strong character arcs, especially Vera's, and presents a coherent timeline logic despite its complex structure. Performances, particularly by Adriana Ugarte, enhance the story's emotional weight. Visual and sound elements harmonize well with the shifting timelines. While a few scenes lack proper placement or closure, the film remains an engaging watch for fans of time-loop dramas. Advertised as a Netflix Original, this Spanish language film is a delightful treat. Adriana Ugarte provides a stellar performance as a woman who is able to communicate with a boy 25 years into the past in order to change history with unintended consequences. Although I watched the film with subtitles, Adriana's acting transcends language. The cinematography and directing were top notch. The only issue some may have is that the movie runs a little long at 2 hrs and 9 minutes but I don't feel there was much they could have cut from the movie without ruining it. Two thumbs up.
