Synopsis
Erica Faure, 41, is een succesvolle schrijfster van detectiveromans. Als ze terugkeert naar haar geboortestad om het huis van haar overleden ouders leeg te halen, ontdekt ze het levenloze lichaam van Alexandra, haar beste vriendin uit haar jeugd. Haar polsen zijn doorgesneden. Erica is ervan overtuigd dat het geen zelfmoord is en begint een onderzoek waarbij heden en verleden door elkaar lopen. Het is echter vooral de ontmoeting met kapitein Patrick Saab die haar leven op zijn kop zal zetten.
