Great show. No propaganda and woke BS. Reacher is a great, big good guy. Show has likable characters and a lot of action. It's much better than movie. Highly recommended!

Season one was a 10/10 show. I LOVED it. I waited with eager anticipation for season two... and when I finally got to watch it, I was so disappointed. In season one, Reacher was larger than life. In season two he just seemed les significant. Season two is 7/10. Still worth the watch, but just don't expect the same va-va-voom that season one had.

## A tale of two Reachers ### a matter of taste. _Disclaimer: I haven't read the books._ You can re-cast characters, and play the same thing differently. That's OK. The Reacher we get in the Tom Cruise variant is perceptive, clever, cautious; he relies on his wits and knowledge of human nature. He does what he thinks necessary and right, tends to avoid collateral damage. He's a loner, and perfectly fine with it. The Reacher we get in the Alan Ritchson variant is a Hulk with penchant for killing; he leaves behind a trail of destruction and corpses. He pretends to be a loner, but is a lost team player in the end. It's like James Bond versus the A-Team. Both enjoyable, similar topics, but very different in tonality and production. One more aspect: the Cruise-Reacher is like a modern Yojimbo. The Ritchson one is written like a power fantasy: invincible avenger walks through walls to right the wrongs. A matter of taste, really. I lost my appetite for this series in the second season. PS: Season 1 is pretty much "Red Harvest" with a modern plot goal.

SEASON 1: 8/10! Dean even said it had zero wokery, which is weird since they highlighted Finlay's race multiple times, but I guess it's only woke when the bigots don't like it. I'm gonna assume Dean's 10/10 review was sarcasm due to the aneurysm-inducing vocabulary used. "No woke, good Reacher!" -- SEASON 2 & 3: Varying degrees of dog shit with some fun moments sprinkled in. These seasons are so... "YOU DOH MESS WITH DE SPECIAL ALLIGATORS, B-B-B-B-B-BOI!" forgettable that I've never rewatched them despite rewatching Season 1. I might be being overly harsh towards Season 3. Also, Season 2 wasn't that horrible. -- SEASON 4: Even more dog shit with some fun action sequences and some really stupid ones, like the final fight. I was with it up to the point I wasn't anymore and then it just kept getting progressively worse, like trying to make us believe that Buff White Savor Starboy was actually gonna get killed, or having Anggun in your show and not making her the villainous "Reacher Girl". It's !@#$ing Anggun, mother!@#$er! -- SEASON 1(5): I think I've given up after episode 4. I consider Neagley a season of Reacher, and following the downward trend, it's even more dog shit than Reacher Season 4. -- We're on a downward spiral, boys and girls. These characters are way too stupid for who they're supposed to be. Don't give Reacher a resourceful sidekick, then not have her show up when there's a city-wide manhunt for Reacher. It's utterly stupid. Either don't put Reacher in such situations, or have Neagley guest star in at least one episode. I don't care who likes or dislikes her character, she would not see a city-wide manhunt for Reacher and not try to help. This is The Punisher !@#$ing off during the events of Daredevil Season 2 all over again, and the Avengers being too busy with "big potatoes" while lollygagging in bath houses. !@#$ your potatoes. You're making no !@#$ing sense, bruh. Y'know what series I really enjoyed, despite the main actor outing himself as a batshit bigoted religious extremist and child-rape enabler? Person of Interest. People showed up when they needed to.

Mostly fun. The show took a huge turn in Season four. Firstly, a clear recommendation to watch 1-3. During season 4 though the writing took a dive though. If you're sensitive to the fun/believability ratio, maybe chose differently. The exposition in S4E7 is barely bearable. Ritchsons presence, charisma and sheer will seem to carry... and I myself am surprised to say that, a LOT. Get your mind off and it's refreshingly good, almost retro-feel TV.

*Reacher* (2022) is such a great example of a series that gets the balance between action, mystery, and character development right. Alan Ritchson’s performance really makes Reacher feel like the larger-than-life character fans expect, while the investigation keeps the story moving. Definitely a must-watch for action and thriller fans.

Season 1 of Reacher blew me away! Pure Jack Reacher - a one-man wrecking crew taking down bad guys. But season 2? Yikes. It felt like a cheap action movie showcasing a bunch of ex-military buddies instead. Lost the whole "lone wolf" vibe that made Reacher so cool. Should've called it "Reacher and the Misfit Battalion."

Bought Reacher: Season 1 on Blu-Ray. I absolutely Loved the series and I hope Amazon will continue filming it. The actor that plays Reacher in the series "to me any way," fits closer to the description that Lee Child has in his books. Not to take anything away from Tom Cruise and the movies that he played Jack Reacher in, because he had a smaller frame. Both actors did a fantastic acting job in their films which I also have. Top class acting from both Alan Ritchson and Tom Cruise. I also have Lee Child's books and if it wasn't for him writing such fantastic novels we would not have these great films.
