Handlung

CHAN KAU buys a new boat. He feels that he has achieved some success. Therefore, he determines to marry YING. YING promises and KAU gives her an old coin as a pledge. LAU CHEONG finds that YING has grown up. He thus sends a match-maker to find a suitable marriage for her. YING feels very upset. KUEN asks YING to urge KAU to ask for their marriage quickly. However, the match-maker declares that the rich YIU family has requested for YING's marriage. KAU thus retreats from the competition. KAU goes to tell CHEONG about his relationship with YING. CHEONG is very angry and locks YING up. FONG tries to arrange YING and KAU to have a secret meeting. However, this is discovered by CHEONG. CHEONG even beats YING violently. The YIU family really sends a lot of gifts to YING for her marriage. KAU thus asks KUEN to tell YING that he wants to escape with her. However, this is overheard by CHEONG.… ...
