Sinopsis
The life of the groundbreaking choreographer and director whose unmistakable style reshaped American musical theater and film. The episode follows Fosse from his early days as a vaudeville performer to his rise on Broadway, where his angular movements, turned‑in knees, and smoky sensuality became instantly recognizable. Biography explores his triumphs with works like Cabaret, Chicago, and All That Jazz, highlighting his relentless drive for perfection and the creative risks that made him a visionary. The program also delves into Fosse’s turbulent personal life—his struggles with addiction, demanding work habits, and complicated relationships—revealing the tension between his artistic brilliance and self‑destructive impulses. Through interviews, archival footage, and behind‑the‑scenes insights, the episode paints a vivid portrait of a man who lived and created on the edge, leaving an indelible mark on the world of dance and entertainment.
