Handlung
Explore the luminous yet deeply troubled life of one of Hollywood’s most hauntingly beautiful stars. The episode traces Tierney’s rise from a privileged upbringing to her breakthrough in films like Laura and Leave Her to Heaven, where her striking presence and emotional depth made her a screen icon. Biography delves into the personal struggles that shadowed her success—her battle with depression, the tragic circumstances surrounding her daughter’s birth, and the pressures of fame that intensified her emotional turmoil. Through interviews, archival footage, and reflections from those who knew her, the program reveals a woman striving to balance artistic achievement with inner stability. Ultimately, the episode presents a poignant portrait of Gene Tierney: a gifted actress whose life was marked by both brilliance and fragility, leaving behind a legacy as unforgettable as it was heartbreaking.
